ElPozo plans €33 million investment in logistics

ElPozo plans to invest 33 million in logistics at its central plant near Murcia. Two warehouses for the management of raw materials and finished products, each estimated at about €15 million are going to be built at the plant. A new warehouse for pallets for finished products and carry out the remodeling of the dispatch area is going to be built with the clear objective to increase storage capacity, automate storage tasks, with total traceability of stored materials, and improve the response time of the service to customers.

On the other hand, the food brand has scheduled the construction of a large general warehouse, which will allow it to expand the storage capacity of raw materials. With this construction, they will also be centralized in a single place, automating the storage process and simultaneously achieving traceability of each of the materials in stock. Another initiative is to invest €3 million to improve the energy efficiency of its facilities and obtain greater sustainability in its processes. For this, the company will install new compressors, evaporative condensers, air compressors, box washers, etc.
