VanDrieGroup Takes Over Dutch Activities of A.J. van Dam Beheer B.V.

The VanDrie Group has reached an agreement in principle with A.J. van Dam Beheer b.v. with regards to completely taking over the Dutch activities in the veal sector. The takeover plan has been sent to the Autoriteit Consument en Markt (Consumers and Market Authority, ACM) for approval. The two businesses expect the ACM to grant approval soon.

VanDrieGroup Takes Over Dutch Activities of A.J. van Dam Beheer B.V.

A.J. van Dam Beheer b.v. is active in various disciplines in the veal sector. Their activities include contract rearing and trading calves. The company was founded in 1979 by the Van Dam family. Today, the family business has a turnover of 120 million euros and employs 14 people. With the takeover of the Dutch activities, all jobs will be maintained.  The activities of A.J. van Dam Beheer b.v. outside of the Netherlands will continue unabated and independently.

The VanDrie Group is also a Dutch family business. The VanDrie Group makes veal and beef products, calf feed, raw dairy materials and calfskins. With a revenue of 2 billion euros, the company employs approximately 2,500 people.
