The National Animal Health and Quality Service (Senacsa) announced that the final phase of the audit conducted by representatives of the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA) and the Ministry of Health (MINSA) of Panama concluded last Friday.
As reported by Senacsa, “the first phase of the process has been successfully completed”, and the preparation of the detailed report and the subsequent approval of health standards will continue.
During the meeting, chaired by Dr. José Carlos Martin, president of Senacsa, and accompanied by the general directors, the progress made in the authorization for the export of boneless beef to Panama was evaluated.
The auditors highlighted Senacsa’s strengths in animal health and safety, key aspects for ensuring the quality of the product for export.
