Carmistin Group has signed an agreement with Aaylex One Group to take over the operation and control of its poultry assets. The agreement comes in the context of difficulties encountered by Aaylex One in ensuring business continuity, with the main objective of keeping one of Romania’s most important integrated poultry platforms operational.
The targeted assets cover the entire production workflow: breeding farms, hatcheries, broiler chicken farms, compound feed mills, a slaughterhouse, as well as related logistics and storage capabilities. Carmistin will thus ensure the integrated operation of activities, from feed production to the final product.
The agreement aligns with Carmistin Group’s strategy to strengthen its integrated food chain, built on traceability, operational control, and high standards of quality and food safety.
Human resources represent an essential component. For the more than 1,000 employees involved in production activities, taking over the operation of these assets means job retention and continuous income, as well as tapping into the professional experience and skills accumulated within the platform. At the same time, to maintain the stability of the entire supply chain, Carmistin Group aims to continue relationships with partner farmers, suppliers, and customers.
The process is currently in the transition phase, with the necessary procedures for obtaining approvals and clearances from competent authorities to be carried out in the coming period. Once this phase is completed, operations will be aligned with Carmistin Group’s operational standards through a gradual and transparent process for both employees and partners.
