The shipment includes between 20 and 22 tons produced from animals raised by small-scale farmers in El Impenetrable. It is the second of seven shipments planned for the international market.
The Chaco government completed its second shipment of goat meat to Saudi Arabia. The shipment contains between 20 and 22 tons of meat, obtained from the slaughter of approximately 1,200 animals belonging to small producers in the El Impenetrable region of Chaco.
Breeders receive technical, health, and commercial assistance from a provincial program that aims to facilitate the sale of their production and expand their access to international markets.
The shipment is part of a series of seven containers scheduled for the region, with the aim of supporting refrigeration activity and generating new marketing channels for goat production.
During the loading ceremony, Governor Leandro Zdero highlighted the joint participation of the government, producers, and the private sector in revitalizing the meatpacking industry and accessing high-demand markets. He also stated that the province’s growth depends on creating opportunities and adding value to local production.
