FRIBIN celebrates its 60th anniversary by consolidating a responsible growth model

At FRIBIN, turning sixty means looking further ahead. The Aragonese company celebrates six decades of history in 2026, consolidating one of the best periods in its history. The 2025 fiscal year closed with a record turnover of €486.1 million, a 13% increase over the previous year, and a 10% rise in business volume, confirming a sustained growth trajectory that has now lasted five consecutive years.

But beyond the figures, the results reflect the strength of a business model built on a long-term vision: investing prudently, innovating constantly, maintaining a strong commitment to people, and generating value from the local area. The annual accounts, approved by the General Shareholders’ Meeting, also demonstrate a more robust organization, with greater financial capacity and prepared to face the challenges of the coming years.

Growth means taking on greater responsibility

For FRIBIN, reaching new milestones is not just a source of satisfaction. It also means a greater commitment to everyone involved in its project.
Cristina Gallart, FRIBIN’s CEO, states: “Turning sixty doesn’t make us bigger; it makes us more responsible. Responsible to the people who work every day at FRIBIN, to the farmers who trust us, to our customers, to the region that has seen us grow, and to the generations who will continue this project. That is the true meaning of this anniversary.” A philosophy that has guided the company’s evolution over the last few decades and that continues to shape every strategic decision today.

Financial strength for continued investment

The 2025 results demonstrate a company poised for continued growth based on stability.
In a particularly challenging environment for the agri-food sector, FRIBIN has maintained its profitability thanks to continuous process improvement, industrial efficiency, and rigorous operational management, achieving an EBITDA of €19 million. During the year, the company allocated €7.5 million to investments aimed at increasing production capacity, incorporating new technologies, and strengthening food safety.

This investment effort has been accompanied by a significant improvement in its financial position. Net financial debt was reduced by €2.4 million, reaching €22.6 million, while the net debt/EBITDA ratio fell to 1.19, compared to 2.79 in 2023.

Furthermore, working capital increased by €7.2 million, strengthening the company’s ability to confidently undertake new investments.
Víctor Nalda Clua, CEO of FRIBIN, stated: “The 2025 results confirm the strength of our model and the organization’s capacity to grow with operational excellence in tight-margin environments. We are entering 2026 with a completely sound financial structure, a privileged position to continue gaining market share, and a very clear sustainable roadmap to 2030.”

Innovating to Guarantee the Future

FRIBIN’s growth is based on a clear conviction: tomorrow’s competitiveness depends on the decisions made today.
Therefore, 2025 marked a decisive step with the approval of the first Strategic Sustainability Plan 2025-2030, which integrates environmental, social, and governance commitments into the company’s strategy.

The roadmap includes actions aimed at advancing decarbonization, strengthening animal welfare, promoting talent development and continuing to generate a positive impact on the territory.

In the energy sector, FRIBIN already produces more than 40% of the electricity it consumes, reducing its energy dependence and simultaneously strengthening its competitiveness.

Sixty years of growth from Binéfar

Founded in 1966 in Binéfar, FRIBIN has evolved from a family business deeply linked to the territory to become one of the main benchmarks of the Spanish agri-food sector.

Today it continues to maintain intact the values that marked its origin: closeness, commitment, quality, effort and innovation.

This deep connection to the local area is also reflected in its production model. Eighty percent of the animals it processes come from farms located less than 80 kilometers from its facilities, strengthening the local livestock sector, reducing the environmental impact of transportation, and generating wealth in rural areas.

More than 1,000 professionals are currently part of the organization and contribute every day to ensuring that FRIBIN products reach customers in numerous international markets under the motto “MEAT YOU LOVE”.

Looking ahead to the next sixty years

In 2026 FRIBIN plans to increase its activity again by between 5% and 10% and implement a new investment plan of close to 9 million euros, aimed at improving productivity, accelerating digitalization and continuing to incorporate technologies that strengthen efficiency and food safety.

The company faces this new stage with a solid financial structure, a clearly defined strategy, and the same dedication with which it began its operations six decades ago.
Because turning sixty is not simply reaching a milestone. It is assuming the responsibility of continuing to build for the next sixty years. That is FRIBIN’s commitment: to keep growing without losing its essence, to innovate without abandoning its roots, and to create value for people, the region, and future generations.
