The Vall Companys agri-food group will be one of the leading exhibitors at SIAL Paris 2026, which runs from 17 to 21 October at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte. At this international food industry event, the Group will continue to present its full catalogue as a multi-meat supplier, with a clear focus on processed products, cured and cooked meats, Iberian and white pork, and poultry.
Grupo Vall Companys is Spain’s leading food group. Its business structure, built on vertical integration, makes it a reliable supply-chain partner amid today’s shifting landscape. The company also stands out for its farm-to-fork value chain, which spans genetics, the birth, rearing and feeding of its own animals, veterinary control, cutting, packing and final sale.
This structure guarantees the highest food safety standards, backed by the leading international certifications in animal welfare and industrial quality, such as Animal Welfair, Global Gap, IFS, BRC and ISO, as well as numerous origin and quality labels, most notably Serrano TSG, Consorcio Jamón Serrano, Jabugo PDO and Teruel PDO.
FINURA: Iberian pork, from Spain to the world
At the Paris show, Grupo Vall Companys will put the spotlight on its renewed and enhanced gastronomic offering. In the fresh Iberian pork category, the company will highlight the premium positioning of FINURA.
FINURA is a comprehensive project to transform and advance Iberian pork, designed to manage and add value to every cut of the carcass by developing top-quality products, distinctive formats and high value-added presentations tailored to each customer and market: the point is not simply to process 500,000 kg of meat a day, but to unlock the greatest possible gastronomic value from every animal, in the service of the consumer.
Its state-of-the-art facilities make it possible to tailor cuts, formats, packaging and finishes to the specific needs of each customer and any market, both domestic and international. In this way, FINURA turns a meat unlike any other in the world into differentiated solutions that reach the end consumer with the presentation, quality and value each market demands.
Customers will also have access to the full range of white pork and offal.
A tailor-made range of Iberian and Serrano ham
With drying capacity for almost five million Iberian and Serrano hams, the Group guarantees volume and consistency through a solid network of six drying houses and three plants in towns steeped in charcuterie tradition, such as Guijuelo (Salamanca) and El Repilado (Huelva). It supplies specialist retailers, foodservice, large-scale retail and the industrial sector alike.
Meanwhile, the century-old Iberian ham brand La Joya will once again take centre stage with its artisanal products, cured in the historic drying house at El Repilado (Jabugo) and aimed at fine dining and gourmet retail.
In addition, to meet today’s demand for convenience, the Group has stepped up the roll-out of Mübo, its line of ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat solutions, which ranges from premium burgers to ready-cooked meats and ready-to-serve dishes.
Poultry: the most sought-after protein
With demand for chicken on the rise, Grupo Vall Companys is establishing itself as a leading supplier in southern and central Europe. The company offers chicken in a range of categories, perfectly suited to different sales channels and every consumption occasion.
The company currently has no fewer than eleven poultry processing plants across Spain, with the capacity to process and supply 395,000 tonnes of chicken a year.
In line with the discussions at SIAL Paris on decarbonisation and the circular economy, the agri-food group is showcasing the progress made under its PENTA strategic plan. The company has cut its direct CO₂ emissions by 27% compared with 2020, while also driving the use of renewable energy, the upcycling of by-products into animal feed and pioneering projects such as LIFE Green Ammonia, which captures nitrogen on farms, among many others.
