The Brazilian Beef project debuts at “Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL”

Unprecedented participation in one of Southeast Asia’s leading food fairs reinforces the strategy of diversifying markets and brings Brazilian beef closer to buyers in the region.

The Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), will participate for the first time in “Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL”, which will be held between July 21 and 23 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.

Recognized as one of the leading food and beverage trade shows in Southeast Asia, “Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL” is expected to bring together more than 500 exhibitors, 18,000 professional visitors, 10 international pavilions, and buyers from dozens of markets, establishing itself as an important business platform for companies interested in expanding their operations in the region.

The debut of the Brazilian Beef project at the fair reinforces the market diversification strategy conducted by Abiec and ApexBrasil, bringing Brazilian beef closer to importers, distributors, and retail chains in one of the fastest-growing food consumption regions.

The Brazilian Beef Pavilion will be inaugurated on July 21st at 12:30 PM (local time) in Hall 4, stands 4S294 and 4S295. The ceremony is expected to be attended by the Brazilian Ambassador to Malaysia, Daniella Ortega de Paiva Menezes.

ABIEC will be represented by its Director of Strategic Affairs, Julio Ramos. Also participating in the event are the companies Cooperfrigu Foods, Mercúrio Alimentos, Minerva Foods, and Naturafrig Alimentos, which will present their products and hold business meetings with international buyers during the three-day event.

As part of the international SIAL network, the trade fair brings together the main players in the global food and beverage chain and focuses on connecting suppliers to importers, distributors, retailers and food service operators, with a strong presence of companies from ASEAN markets and other Asian countries.
