Tesco is bringing premium Scottish wild venison to shoppers across the UK with the launch of its new Tesco Finest Wild Venison range. Supplied by Dundee-based processor Highland Game, the new lineup expands access to one of Scotland’s most celebrated natural foods across 100 select Tesco stores nationwide.
Wild venison is naturally high in protein and low in fat, making it an ideal choice for health-conscious consumers seeking nutritious, minimally processed red meat. Raised naturally in Scotland’s rugged landscapes, the deer roam freely across hills, mountains, and forests.
The new Tesco Finest range includes:

The expanded partnership underlines Tesco’s role as the largest commercial customer of Scottish agriculture and marks a major milestone for Highland Game—the first processor to achieve Tesco Approved status for wild venison. The contract expansion directly supports the creation of 12 new jobs at Highland Game’s processing facilities.
