INTERPORC launches the traveling campaign ‘The sandwich that moves you’ in Madrid

The Interprofessional Agri-food Association of White Pigs (INTERPORC) launched the traveling campaign ‘The sandwich that moves you’ in Madrid, a promotional action that seeks to bring consumers closer to the nutritional, cultural and social value of the ham sandwich through an innovative, participatory and educational experience.

The activity takes place in a mobile unit of over 60 square meters, designed to be a meeting point for families, young people, athletes, and the general public. Under the concept ‘The sandwich that moves you,’ the campaign highlights the role of the ham sandwich as a food linked to an active lifestyle and a balanced diet.

The space features two nutritionists who attend to visitors and explain the nutritional properties of ham, answering questions about its consumption and its incorporation into a varied and balanced diet.

In addition, attendees can participate in various interactive activities designed to combine entertainment and education. These include several digital quizzes where participants test their knowledge of animal welfare, generational renewal, livestock production, and the nutritional benefits of ham, as well as different participatory challenges that encourage engagement with the campaign.

Flavor, health, culture and industry pride

The initiative is structured around the idea of movement in a double sense: physical movement associated with activity and sport, and emotional movement linked to tradition, flavor, gastronomic culture and pride in one of the most representative products of our diet.

With this action, INTERPORC continues to reinforce its commitment to disclosure and transparency, bringing consumers rigorous information about the white pig sector and about the production processes that allow for quality, safe and sustainable products.

Itinerary

The La Gavia shopping center in Madrid hosted the first stop between June 22nd and 24th. After its visit to Vallecas, the mobile unit will move to Móstoles on the 28th, then to Alcalá de Henares on July 1st, and finally to Fuenlabrada on July 6th. Subsequently, the campaign will continue its tour through various Spanish cities in Andalusia, the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Aragon, Castilla-La Mancha, and Murcia.
