Project carried out with ApexBrasil brings together ten Brazilian companies in a trade promotion initiative in the Middle East.
For the first time, the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), is participating in the Saudi Food Show 2026, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from September 27th to 29th. This initiative is part of the Brazilian Beef project and reinforces the presence of Brazilian beef in a strategic market in the Middle East.
The event will feature ten Brazilian companies: Better Beef, Estrela Alimentos, Frigol, Frigosul, JBS, Masterboi, MBRF, Minerva Foods, Naturafrig, and Prima Foods. At booth 5-M1 in the Jeddah Superdome, the companies will have an agenda focused on generating business and building relationships with importers, distributors, and buyers in the region.
Saudi Arabia is also gaining ground among destinations for Brazilian beef. From January to August 2026, the country imported 50,000 tons (US$ 297.9 million), a 24.9% increase in volume compared to the same period in 2025. In August, 8,600 tons were shipped, generating US$ 50.7 million and placing the country among the top ten destinations for Brazilian beef that month.
On the first day of the fair, the Brazilian Beef space is expected to host, for the opening of the Brazilian beef pavilion, the Brazilian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Paulo Uchôa Ribeiro Filho, the Brazilian agricultural attaché in the country, Caio César Simão, as well as other authorities, reinforcing the articulation between the productive sector and the Brazilian government in the promotion of national beef.
The Saudi Food Show brings together companies and buyers from the food and beverage sector from different markets. In 2026, the event will be held for the first time in Jeddah and is expected to bring together more than 1,000 exhibitors, representatives from over 95 countries and around 100,000 products, expanding opportunities to connect with buyers from the Saudi market and other countries in the region.
This participation continues Brazilian Beef’s international agenda for 2026, which has already included markets such as the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, China, Mexico, Russia, Malaysia, the United States, and the Philippines.
