FAAP and ABIEC launch extension course focused on agribusiness and the beef market

The Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP), in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), launched the Agribusiness and Beef Market extension course (Beef School). The initiative aims to qualify professionals to work in one of the most strategic segments of the Brazilian economy, bringing together academic knowledge and practical experience across the entire beef chain.

The launch event was opened by Luis Sobral (CEO of FAAP) and featured a debate on the challenges and perspectives of the sector. Participants in the discussion included Roberto Perosa (President of ABIEC), Augusto Billi (Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat of Trade and International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock), Sibelle Andrade (Special Advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock), and Luciana Pecegueiro (Agribusiness Coordinator at ApexBrasil).

Developed by FAAP in partnership with ABIEC, the Beef School offers strategic training on the entire beef production chain, covering topics such as livestock production, sustainability, ESG, animal welfare, food safety, traceability, foreign trade, innovation, and international competitiveness.

With this initiative, FAAP expands its role in training professionals for agribusiness, contributing to the development of a sector that plays a fundamental role in the Brazilian economy and in the country’s integration into international markets.
