MBRF announces industrial expansion in Toledo with an investment of R$ 47 million

The investment will modernize and expand the unit’s production lines, generating 100 new jobs.

MBRF, one of the world’s largest food companies, announced an investment of R$ 47 million in Toledo (PR), which includes the expansion and modernization of the breaded chicken and fresh sausage production line at the plant.

With the expansion, the unit will increase its production capacity and generate 100 new jobs in the city, mainly in the operations area. For Clederson Danielewz, Industrial Manager of the Toledo unit, the expansion demonstrates the strategic importance of Toledo for MBRF: “We have been present in Toledo since 1959 and today we generate more than seven thousand direct jobs in the region. This investment comes to accompany the growth of our operations and ensure that we continue to meet demand more efficiently. Above all, it reinforces the confidence we have in the city and in the potential of this partnership, which still has much to contribute both to the company and to the local community.” The expansion will also open new opportunities for the local population, mainly in the operations area; the company will begin the selection process to hire professionals from the region.

Selected professionals will receive comprehensive training, ensuring the necessary skills to work in their respective areas. The company reinforces its commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities in all selection processes and actively promoting the participation of people with disabilities, women, Black people, and migrants or refugees.
