The brand reached a 29.5% market share in the category by 2026; this growth is driven by a strategy that combines air fryer pizzas, traditional versions, and premium options.
The brand has consolidated its prominent position in the Brazilian market and reaches this date as the leader in the frozen pizza category.
On the eve of one of the most delicious occasions on the national calendar, Pizza Day, celebrated on July 10th, Seara has plenty of reasons to celebrate. The brand has consolidated its leading position in the Brazilian market and arrives at this date as the leader in the frozen pizza category. The result is the fruit of a strategy focused on innovation, quality and, above all, on understanding and meeting the new demands for convenience of the modern consumer.
Seara’s leading position in the sector is backed by solid data. According to Nielsen, the brand achieved a 29.5% market share in the frozen pizza category in the year 2026. This figure consolidates the success of recent investments in expansion and portfolio differentiation.
The path taken by the brand to reach the top of the market was paved by a commitment to pioneering. One of the main drivers of this growth was the introduction of frozen pizzas for the Seara Air Fryer line, for preparation in this appliance. This product innovation brought benefits on two fronts: for the consumer, who gained an extremely quick, crispy and practical consumption alternative; and for the retailer, since the product is sold in smaller packages than conventional pizzas, which significantly optimizes space, increases turnover and boosts market growth.
“Leadership in the frozen pizza category validates that we are on the right track, combining Seara’s tradition of quality with the innovative philosophy of setting trends, as we did with the air fryer line. This result reflects our obsession with understanding the consumer’s routine and seeking the best solution for the supermarket. We will continue to drive the sector and surprise our clients and consumers,” says Rafael Palmer, marketing director of Seara.
The impact of this category on the overall result is evident: of the 29.5% market share that Seara holds in the frozen pizza market, 3.5% came from innovations, demonstrating its crucial role as a driver of leadership. In addition to the Seara Air Fryer line itself, which features a variety of traditional flavors, growth was also driven by the special edition pizzas for the Stranger Things series, launched in the second half of 2025 in a partnership between Seara and Netflix. The product, which featured a black dough – made with added cocoa – was very successful with consumers, especially fans of the series.
Alongside these new products, Seara remains firmly established in the traditional frozen pizza segment. The line features options that are part of the emotional memory and daily life of Brazilian consumers, such as pepperoni, mozzarella, four cheeses, Portuguese style, among others. The distinguishing feature of this portfolio is the pre-baked dough in a stone oven, which guarantees the perfect balance between crispness and softness.
For consumers who value a superior gastronomic experience without leaving home, the Seara Gourmet line also plays a key role in maintaining the brand’s leadership in the category. The line offers pizzas with traditional flavors, but with a differentiated preparation: doughs with slow fermentation for 24 hours, hand-stretched and covered with Italian tomato sauce.
