The country is FriGol’s main market in the Middle East; in addition to frozen meat for the industry, the company has started selling chilled products aimed at the retail market.
FriGol, one of the leading and most traditional beef processors in Brazil, participated in the Saudi Food Show 2026, from September 27th to 29th, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The company was part of the delegation for the Brazilian Beef project, an initiative of the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
“Diversifying sales to higher value-added markets is one of the pillars of our strategy. The Middle East has been gaining ground in this movement, and participation in the Saudi Food Show reinforces the region’s relevance to FriGol’s growth plans,” says Luciano Pascon, CEO of FriGol. Between January and August 2026, FriGol’s revenue from sales to the Middle East grew 18% compared to the same period in 2025.
All FriGol units have Halal certification, a requirement for serving Muslim markets.
“Saudi Arabia is our main market in the Middle East, and we are increasing our presence in the country. In addition to frozen meat destined for the industry, we have started selling chilled meats aimed at the retail market,” highlights Rogério Bonato, Export Director of FriGol.
Held for the first time in Jeddah, the Saudi Food Show brings together more than a thousand exhibitors from over 95 countries and around 100,000 products, connecting companies in the food and beverage sector with importers, distributors and buyers.
