China, a key market for Spanish pork

China continues to be one of the main international benchmark markets for Spanish pork , both for its size and for the commercial opportunities it offers to companies in the value chain.

In this context, Interporc considers it a priority to maintain open communication with the institutions and economic stakeholders of both countries. The interprofessional organization points out that institutional cooperation, dialogue, and trust between government and the private sector are fundamental elements for fostering stable and lasting trade relations.

The reception held in Madrid brought together nearly a thousand representatives from Spanish institutions and from the business, diplomatic, academic, cultural and social sectors.

Looking ahead to 2027, Interporc will continue to develop its work agenda in China with the aim of consolidating the presence of Spanish pork, promoting its products and generating new opportunities for companies in the sector.
