The SIAVS 2026 business panel will discuss strategies to strengthen Brazil’s position in the face of transformations in international trade.
With the aim of promoting a debate on the decisions that need to be made today to ensure the competitiveness of the industry in the coming years, the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS) 2026, to be held from August 4 to 6 in São Paulo (SP), will feature the Business Panel – Future of Proteins as one of its program highlights.
On this occasion, CEOs João Campos (Seara), Miguel Gularte (MBRF), and CEO Neivor Canton (Aurora Coop) will share the stage to analyze the factors that will impact the sector’s growth over the coming decades. Furthermore, the executives will discuss ways to prepare businesses to respond to changes in the international market.
“The next decade is expected to be marked by a more complex business environment, influenced by the reorganization of global trade, changes in China’s role, increasing demands for traceability and sustainability, pressure on production costs, health risks, and a consumer with increasingly dynamic habits,” emphasizes the president of the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), Ricardo Santin.
Scheduled for the morning of August 5th, the roundtable discussion will delve into the competitiveness of industry in a context of increasingly complex costs. The debate will highlight factors such as productivity, operational efficiency, availability of raw materials, logistics, energy, innovation, investment capacity, and value creation.
Topics such as animal health and biosecurity will also be prominently featured in the discussions. As Santin explains, these issues are considered strategic assets for accessing international markets and are crucial for maintaining Brazil’s position as a global leader.
“By bringing together some of the leading figures in Brazilian animal protein on the same stage, SIAVS reinforces its position as one of the most important forums for discussing the challenges and opportunities in the food chain. This year, we expect to receive more than 31,000 visitors over the three days of the event,” concludes the president of ABPA.
