The season’s main launch reflects the demand for portion control and convenience, and joins the existing portfolio for gatherings and celebrations throughout December.
Seara, from JBS, brings one of the traditional Christmas proteins to the air fryer with the launch of Fiesta Breast, developed specifically for preparation in the appliance. The product was designed to fit in the electric fryer and maintain its juiciness, offering an alternative to the struggle for the oven during Christmas dinner preparation. This innovation is part of a strategy that combines new products and existing options in the portfolio to cater to smaller celebrations, shared meals for different families, and gatherings throughout December.
Present in approximately 90% of Brazilian households, according to Kantar, the brand’s holiday portfolio includes Fiesta poultry, turkeys, pork cuts, ready-made meals, Seara Gourmet products, and plant-based protein options.
“December continues to be marked by gatherings and celebrations, but the way of celebrating is becoming increasingly diverse. The same consumer who gathers the family around a traditional feast, with a whole bird, may also prepare a dinner for two, organize a barbecue with friends, or participate in different get-togethers throughout the month. We want to be present on all these occasions, with a portfolio that keeps up with the new ways of celebrating without neglecting traditions ,” says Rafael Palmer, Marketing Director at Seara.
Changes in household composition also influence this strategy. In just over a decade, the number of single-person households more than doubled in Brazil, rising from 7.5 million, or 12.2% of the total, in 2012, to 15.6 million, or 19.7%, in 2025, according to the IBGE’s Continuous National Household Sample Survey (PNAD Contínua).
This transformation is reflected both in dinners for two or three people, which call for smaller protein portions, and in gatherings where different families come together and each contributes a dish, making the table more diverse. In addition to the air fryer launch, the company offers portioned options, such as the Stuffed Fiesta Breast.
According to Kantar, air fryers are present in 64% of households in the country, compared to 36.2% in 2022. Among households that consume frozen meals, this presence reaches 85%, according to internal company research. Another novelty this season is the Fiesta already marinated with orange juice, inspired by a preparation that many consumers already made at home and which is now incorporated into the product.
Besides the traditional holiday meals, the season includes happy hours, Secret Santa exchanges, and barbecues with friends and colleagues. A survey by Kantar, released in 2024, showed that 33% of households planned to fire up the grill for Christmas or New Year’s Eve, a percentage 10% higher than that recorded three years earlier. In 2025, barbecue occasions grew by 22% year-on-year. Sausages, poultry, appetizers, and side dishes already represent half of the food consumed at these gatherings.
To cater to these gatherings, Seara offers products already in its portfolio, such as the Fiesta na Churrasqueira, an open-faced product formulated to preserve juiciness during cooking. The offering also includes sausages, pork cuts, mini-hamburgers, American Grill sausage, and garlic paste.
From barbecue to dessert in corporate meal kits
The Seara Party Kit catalog features over 30 options, distributed across the Traditional, Classic, Premium, and Gourmet lines. In recent years, the number of companies returning to purchase Seara’s Christmas kits has grown by 17%. In addition to the traditional combinations, there are options like the BBQ Kit and the Incredible Kit, based on 100% plant-based protein.
Among the new products for 2026 is the Sweet Christmas Kit, which adds a Seara Italian Straw to the selection of poultry and savory products and expands the basket to include dessert. The Seara Gourmet portfolio also includes products such as Seara Gourmet Tender, Herb-Crusted Ham, and Mediterranean Fiesta Chicken.
“When a company gives a Christmas kit, it recognizes its employees and participates in a special moment for their families. It’s a gift with high perceived value, bringing our products to the celebration table and including a thermal bag that can be used throughout the year. That’s why we offer different compositions, from traditional Christmas dinner to barbecue and dessert, so that each company can find the option best suited to its teams ,” highlights Palmer .
Kit deliveries begin in November, by appointment, and cover the entire country. The products are packaged in thermal bags capable of maintaining refrigeration for up to 16 hours. The company also offers the sale of digital gift cards through e-commerce, being the first food company to consolidate this sales model.
Seara aims to sell millions of party kits this year. In the retail sector, internal expectations are for double-digit growth in sales of celebratory products.
Planning throughout the year to meet the season’s needs.
To implement this strategy in stores during the last quarter, planning begins as soon as the previous season ends and involves industrial and logistical scheduling for end-of-year sales. The operation covers turkey production in the Caxias do Sul region of Rio Grande do Sul, and the Fiesta line in the Santo Inácio (Paraná), Passos (Minas Gerais), and São José (Santa Catarina) plants. Pork cuts destined for this period are produced in the Carambeí (PR), Dourados (MS), Seara (SC), and Seberi (RS) plants.
In total, the cycle involves eight industrial units, more than 11,000 direct employees, and a supply chain of over 9,000 integrated poultry and swine producers. This advance planning allows for staggered production, inventory building, and organized distribution for the peak demand in the last months of the year. Since the first half of the year, the company’s 19 own distribution centers have been gradually supplied for end-of-year deliveries. The logistics structure, which has more than 1,300 permanent employees, was reinforced in 2026 with 340 additional professionals and 700 trucks.
On the commercial side, seasonality mobilizes thousands of temporary jobs to reinforce the operation of Seara’s Party Kits and the brand’s presence in retail. Some of these professionals are dedicated to selling and assembling the kits. In supermarkets, the operation also includes demonstrators and stockers to support the execution and display of the products.
