ABPA strengthens institutional relations with China during CIIE 2025

The event is considered the main platform for promoting foreign products in China and brings together authorities, major buyers, and representatives from over a hundred countries.

During the fair, ABPA will also participate in institutional activities promoted in the Brazilian pavilion organized by ApexBrasil. Represented by the executive manager of markets, Estevão Carvalho, and the ABPA representative in China, Linda Chen, ABPA's actions will focus on strengthening ties with Chinese representatives, authorities, and stakeholders in the Asian country.

With a strong presence in the Chinese market, Brazil is today one of the main international suppliers of protein to the country, including chicken and pork. According to the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin, in this context, participation in the CIIE is part of a set of actions aimed at strengthening ties of trust and expanding opportunities for Brazilian products in the world's largest consumer market.

"China is a strategic partner for Brazilian animal proteins. Our participation in CIIE 2025 reinforces our objectives with one of the most relevant markets for Brazilian exports and reaffirms the sector's commitment to supplying safe, sustainable food in line with the highest international standards. Being present in this environment is a clear demonstration of the strength of our relationships and the trust built over the years," highlights Ricardo Santin, president of ABPA.
