ABPA strengthens ties with the Chinese market at CIIE

Leading the action, ABPA's trade promotion coordinator, Nayara Dalmolin, highlighted the strong presence of importers and local leaders during the event, seeking information about the Brazilian export chain.

During the meetings, ABPA organized an action to strengthen the image of animal protein in China, with the distribution of promotional materials with information on the quality, health status and sustainability of poultry and pig farming in Brazil, in addition to contacts of exporting companies that supply the Asian country.

"The strong interest of Chinese stakeholders in strengthening partnerships with Brazilian industries was notable. This, in itself, demonstrates the effectiveness of the action, which will lead to important gains in the work of helping China’s food security", says Dalmolin.

Amidst the program, ABPA president Ricardo Santin participated via video in the 15th China International Meat Conference 2024, a parallel event to CIEE with the presence of government authorities and leaders of the Chinese market.

Organized by the Chinese Government, the CIIE is the largest event in the Asian country aimed at supply sectors from various segments for this market, including food, the automotive industry, technology, innovation, health and others.
