Brazilian beef gains new market in Europe with the opening of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The decision, celebrated by the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC) and the entire sector, reinforces the presence of national protein in the European market and expands opportunities for the exporting industry.

With a population of 3.2 million, Bosnia and Herzegovina has a growing demand for beef, much of which is met by imports. Brazil, which already exports to more than 150 countries, continues to expand its presence in international trade and expand its presence on the continent.

"The conquest of this new market shows the strength and credibility of Brazilian beef abroad. This is a reflection of the commitment of the production chain to guarantee quality and meet health requirements with excellence", says Roberto Perosa, president of ABIEC.

For the association, this achievement reflects the joint effort of ABIEC, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ApexBrasil. The partnership between the productive sector and the government has been fundamental to promoting Brazilian beef, expanding its presence in new markets and strengthening the country's competitiveness abroad.
