Bulgaria reports new bird flu outbreaks
The Bulgarian agency announced that immediate steps have been undertaken to eradicate the outbreak according to European legislation. On the affected livestock site, action will be taken to cull 140,000 birds.
The local authorities have also said that a three-kilometer protection zone and a 10 km observation area around the holding were set up, with a ban on the trade and movement of domestic and wild birds.
