CARNEXPO GRILL has been rescheduled! See you on 24-25 September 2020
In the context of the COVID-19 epidemic in Romania, the organizers of CARNEXPO GRILL have decided to postpone the event originally scheduled for June 4 and 5, 2020, at Theodora Golf Club, near Alba Iulia. It was rescheduled for September 24-25, 2020.
Preventing and combating the spread of the new coronavirus on the territory of our country is also one of the goals assumed by the organizers of CARNEXPO GRILL. In order not to risk endangering the health of those who announced their presence at the event, the organizers decided to postpone it for the fall. It will be, practically, the first meeting of the representatives of the meat industry after a long period in which most of the events have been postponed or canceled.
CARNEXPO GRILL will take place in the same location - Theodora Golf Club, near Alba Iulia- and the event schedule will remain the same. "The safety and health of the participants are a priority for us. We consider that it is our duty to take all measures, to avoid as much as possible any health risk and to ensure the integrity of all those registered for the event. We recommend that during this period we all show responsibility, both for ourselves and for those around us, to prevent as much as possible the spread of this virus. So, we decided to reschedule the event for September 24-25, 2020. We thank everyone for their understanding and hope to see you well in the autumn," said Eugen Capr?, organizer of CARNEXPO GRILL.
200 specialists present at the event
Organized by the magazine INDUSTRIA CARNII.RO and the platform EUROMEATNEWS.COM, CARNEXPO GRILL will run under the motto MEAT YOUR PASSION. The event is a unique opportunity to share ideas with over 200 key specialists in the meat industry, on topics of maximum interest.
The program of the event comprises a festive evening with barbecue, tasting of selected wines, sommeliers recommendation in choosing the perfect wine, time for recreation and socialization by participating in the game of golf, culinary show areas where famous chefs will show their talent. "It's a new conference format that removes formal barriers and facilitates that important part of professional meetings and socializing at a barbecue and a glass of wine outdoors at a special venue. We look to meet with specialists in the meat sector and to share our personal experiences in terms of obtaining the best meat products," said Eugen Capr?.
The event will be attended by representatives of the largest meat producers and processors in Romania and abroad, top buyers in the retail sector, importers and exporters in the field, Embassy delegates, but also chefs representing the HoReCa sector.
What can you expect from Carnexpo Grill?
Carried out over two days, CARNEXPO GRILL has a complex program that includes various activities, as follows:
BEST GRILL CONTEST.
The best barbecue products will be judged and awarded. To be eligible, the products entered in the competition must be meat, of national or international origin, and be accredited for marketing. Pork, beef, sheep or poultry products may be brought to the attention of the jury. From small, burgers or sausages, to smoked ribs or innovative products, anything suitable to be cooked on the grill can get the jury's appreciation.
In the evaluation of these products, which will be done anonymously and blindly, will take into account the external condition and texture (also valid for fresh products, but also semi-prepared), appearance, color and composition, consistency, smell and taste.
Antonio Passarelli, Iosif ?tef?nescu, Orlando Zaharia, Iulian Olaru and Paul Siserman will be part of the commission that will judge the meat products entered in the BEST GRILL competition, the most important grilling competition in Southeast Europe.
At the same time, along with these specialists in the meat industry, there will be beverage producers who will put on the table of the participants of the event the most appreciated Romanian wines, assortments of craft beer and spirits.
CERTIFICATION AND MEDALS. In a special ceremony, the products designated as winners by the chefs will be awarded a certificate and a medal. Depending on the score obtained, the following will be awarded: gold medal (50 points), silver medal (45-49 points) and bronze medal (40-44 points).
Special prizes will also be awarded to products that did not meet the score for a medal.
TASTING OF PRODUCTS. CARNEXPO GRILL is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the products proposed by the participants and to share business experiences with other competitors.
CARNEXPO GOLF TROPHY. The golf competition organized with this occasion will be the perfect time to relax outdoors, at the largest golf resort in Romania. It will be a friendly competition on the longest golf route in Europe - par 6, with a length of 735m.
