CARNEXPO Grill, a new start for the barbecue season in Southeast Europe

Join us at Theodora Golf Club, Alba, Romania, on 4-5 June this year, for an exclusive event dedicated to top executives and major players from meat, HoReCa and retail industries. Representatives of large Romanian enterprises and European meat producers will gather to discuss business opportunities with top executives from HoReCa and retail channels in an exquisite event.

For two days, product presentations, tasting sessions, and grilling contests will create the perfect culinary tour for our guests, completed with wine-tasting sessions from some of the most famous Romanian vineyards.

Although grilling is seen as a seasonal event during the year it has great influence in sales and generates important revenues for the industry. Together we will explore the market dimension and discover new niches for fresh and processed meat products. But besides that, we intend to transform CARNEXPO Grill in a B2B event that brings the opportunity to close all-year long partnerships between participants. We certainly hope to establish broad connections between producers and large retailers and distributors in order to bring stability in the market in these troubled times for the industry. All the main producers in the Romanian meat industry have confirmed their presence and we are delighted to announce that the largest meat producer in SE Europe, Smithfield, is joining us as a partner in this event. Last but not least, Metro Romania, one of the most active retailers in this market, agreed to be our partner for CARNEXPO Grill 2020" stated Eugen Capr?, organizer of CARNEXPO Grill. 

The program comprises one festive dinner with grilled products, wine-tasting sessions, sommelier's consultancy about the qualities of the wines presented and a grilling contest under the surveillance of some of the finest chefs in Romania such as Antonio Passarelli, Iosif ?tef?nescu, Orlando Zaharia, Iulian Olaru, and Paul Siserman. Two more days of leisure can be added to your program in a Golf Tournament open for both beginners and passionate players.
