Danish Crown to keep plants open this week

Danish Meat production facilities will continue to work according to normal schedule for the rest of the week, informs the company. However, preventive measures imposed by the authorities may force the meat producer to seek alternative working shifts in its plants, it is said in a press release.
"The Prime Minister emphasized that Denmark should not be put on hold. Therefore, the slaughter and production in Danish Crown continues as far as possible.
We expect to slaughter as planned for the rest of the week and will inform you of the plans for the next two weeks by Friday.

Danish Crown is one of the companies that has a social responsibility to ensure that there are goods in stores. We will do so responsibly in relation to all employees in production, in our administration and, not least, our owners, the Danish farmers", stated the Danish producer.
Since Wednesday evening, the country's government decided to impose comprehensive measures to limit the spread of coronavirus in Denmark. Those include remote-working for employes, closing the schools and universities and limiting access to public events.
