ElPozo and Campofrio lead among the Spanish meat brands
ElPozo and Campofrio are the meat brands most consumed by the Spaniards, while Serrano is getting closer after recording a 10.6% growth in 2018. The information is revealed in the latest "Brand Footprint 2018" report released by Kantar Worldpanel.
Last year, ElPozo has marked 131 million contacts with Spanish consumers, while Campofrio is ranked second has 105 million contacts. According to the report, ElPozo is present in 78% of the Spanish households, being the most chosen brand in Andalusia, Castilla la Mancha, Extremadura, Murcia, Navarra, and the Canary Islands. Campofrio dominates the center-north zone, leading Castilla y León along with La Rioja and the Basque Country.
Serrano brand still has to wait until compete with these two strong brands but the growth recorded last year is very promising for the company.
