IFFA 2019 expects more than 1000 exhibitors of machinery for the meat sector

Held from May 4 to 9, IFFA trade fair expects this year to be the host for more than 1,000 companies from 50 countries, maintaining its status as a true innovation platform for the world meat industry.
Johannes Schmid-Wiedersheim, director of IFFA in Messe Frankfurt, and Beatrix Fraese, adviser in VDMA (German Association of Manufacturers of Machinery), communicated that 2% of the exhibitors will be international, while in regard to attendees, that percentage rises to 67%.
According to CdeComunicacion website, Spain will occupy third place both in the number of exhibitors and visitors. For the time being, 68 companies have already been confirmed in a list that does not account for co-exhibitors. Given that 3 years ago the total number of exhibitors and co-exhibitors was 73, this figure will be greatly exceeded in this edition. As an advance, Spanish companies have contracted so far more than 1,000 m2 more than in 2016, which represents a growth of more than 20%, an unprecedented rise according to those responsible for the fair.
