IK and Elipso are strenghtening their cooperation

The two associations want to cooperate further in eco design, market development and the image of plastic packaging. Also, they want to tackle together the problem of marine litter.

“As national associations, we have been speaking successfully for our respective members for many years”, explains Dr. Jürgen Bruder, Managing Director of IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen. “However, we are aware of increasing challenges on the European level, first of all regarding environment and sustainability, which can only be met in very close cooperation.”

„We decided to go further in our cooperation and to work more closely with our German colleagues in order to share knowledge, experiences and to issue some common positions on various topics. Elipso and IK want a „Europe en marche“ said Emmanuel Guichard, Managing Director of Elipso.

In early July a first workshop of the teams of both associations took place in Paris.

The partnership between the two associations started in 2011.
