INTERPORC boosts the promotion of the Spanish Charcuterie in Chile during 2024
The campaign, which has been running for several years, is part of the joint 'Sector Plan' with ICEX Spain Export and Investments for the promotion of processed products - Spanish charcuterie, and includes direct actions in several locations, which are also widely disseminated on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
The beginning of this year’s activities took place in March, when the attendants to the presentation of the launch of the novel “Until August” by Gabriel Garcia Márquez were able to enjoy a tasting of Spanish Charcuterie in the municipality of Providencia (Santiago).
Subsequently, a pairing was held at the restaurant La Bodeguilla de Cristóbal, in Santiago, where participants learned about wines and Spanish charcuterie; and two master classes were held in gastronomy schools in Santiago, in which the chef Cristóbal Morales, ambassador of the campaign, presented simple recipes using Spanish charcuterie products; and later, in July, another masterclass focused on the preparation of paellas.
In addition, during Mother's Day, an action was carried out in Unimarc supermarkets consisting of a game and a raffle of teddy pigs and products, which was very well received; and on Father's Day, a tasting and gift raffle took place in two Tottus supermarkets in Santiago de Chile.
In October a seminar will be held for companies and an action in supermarkets on Spanish National Day, and, finally, during the Christmas holidays INTERPORC will be present in retail outlets.
These initiatives reflect INTERPORC's and ICEX’s commitment to promote Spanish Charcuterie in Chile, adapting to the different times of the year to maximize its impact and connection with local consumers.
