JBS presented premium brands to the largest food fair in Asia

Attentive to the growing demand of young Chinese for premium proteins, JBS highlighted at SIAL China 2023, the largest food and beverage fair in Asia, the 1953 Friboi and Black Friboi lines. With a delegation of more than 40 executives in Shanghai, the company presented its premium and diversified portfolio to expand its presence in Chinese retail.

Demand for premium protein has risen in recent years in China and consumption habits for the product are increasingly diversified. Among younger consumers, the tendency to consume beef of the steak type is growing and, to meet this demand, JBS presented Friboi's premium brands at SIAL China.

The 1953 Friboi line has cuts made with raw materials from European breeds such as Angus, Hereford, Devon and Charolais. The quality of the products is the result of technology, high standard protocols and state-of-the-art processes, which guarantee meat with a high level of marbling, superior tenderness and juiciness. The Black Friboi, which comes from a breed of cattle originating in the States, is an exclusive line focused on creating an unforgettable sensorial experience, reinforcing the evolution of the quality of Brazilian meat.

"China is a strategic market for JBS, with many opportunities for us to explore. We want to further expand our retail presence in the country, and for that we are reinforcing our premium brands, with greater added value", says Gilberto Xandó, CEO of JBS Brasil.

As for pork and poultry, through Seara, the company seeks to expand coverage in the Chinese market in different provinces, serve different sales channels with excellence in service, product quality and competitive prices. In addition to 1953 Friboi and Black Friboi and Seara, JBS is also participating in SIAL China with other strong brands that are already representative in the Chinese market, such as Swift and Pilgrim's.
