La Comarca Meats announced the public from the region of Murcia about its intention to build an industrial slaughterhouse with a capacity of up to 16,000 pigs/day in the Serrata de Lorca industrial estate. Also, the company requested environmental authorization for an expansion of its current cutting room with the aim of reaching 12,000 channels/day. The project is yet to be defined in all its details but this is simply the first legal step to take to get it started.
