Livestock industry grows in Mexico with historical productions

During the inauguration of the first "Expo Ganadera Morelos 2017", the Secretary of Agriculture, accompanied by the governor of the entity, Graco Ramírez Abreu, pointed out that the objective is to encourage breeders and cattle owners to achieve more product placement national and in international markets.

He explained that annually Mexico export a little more than 220 thousand tons of meat, as well as 1.2 million calves on foot, all thanks to the work and effort of the producers and members of the cattle production chain.

Therefore, he said, "in SAGARPA we have tried to move from direct and liquid subsidies to instruments of progress such as the generation of infrastructure, because these investments remain forever and not only belong to a person or community, but become assets of the nation".
