Luxembourg has the highest meat prices in the EU
Twelve other countres are above the EU's average prices. Austria, Denmark and Sweden follow Luxembourg up close on the second, third,and fourth spots.
France occupies the fifth spot, prices being 32% higher than the EU average and it is followed by Belgium in the sixth place with 23% and Germany with 22%.
Poland was the least expensive country for meat, prices being 43% lower than the EU average, followed by Bulgaria, about 42% lower, and Romania, where prices were 40.8% lower than the average in the union in 2017.
