Marel has a new office space in Boxmeer

At the end of November, Marel marked the grand opening of the new multifunctional office wing, the expanded manufacturing facility and the new R&D center at its Boxmeer site.
The new building provides the best working conditions for staff and it is set up according to the latest standards regarding sustainability, acoustics, and lighting, according to the company.
In their new location, the R&D teams of Marel’s poultry, meat, and further processing industries are brought together into one R&D center, thus stimulating cross-pollination and cooperation.
A total of 1700m² of office space is reserved for 150 workstations on two floors. The need for more meeting locations has also been fulfilled. In addition to the atrium, which offers many informal meeting places and flexible workspaces, twelve separate rooms with screens have been created.
“We are very pleased and proud to provide our staff with these inspiring working environments. This investment confirms the strong foothold we have in Boxmeer now and in the future. We have created excellent working environments for our staff, active in further processing, meat, poultry, supply chain, corporate and IT,” says Anton de Weerd, MD Marel Poultry. “Boxmeer is also the heart of the Marel Poultry division and many new innovations were developed and launched here in the past 55 years, underlining its importance as an AgriFood village.”
