Marfrig changes CEO and other executives
Marfrig Global Foods announces a series of changes in its top executive structure. The company's CEO Jose Eduardo de Oliveira Miron will be replaced by Miguel de Souza Gularte (photo), 61 years old, a veterinarian with 40 years of experience in the beef industry and the current CEO for Marfrig's operations in Brazil and South America. Mr. de Souza Gularte has been recruited in the company's structure in 2018.
The company also informs that it is promoting changes in its Statutory Board, being that its current statutory director, Tang David, assumes the Vice- Finance and Investor Relations Presidency to replace Marco Antonio Spada. The current Vice-President of Management and Planning, Fábio Taiate Cunha Vasconcellos, also leaves the Company. The other directors remain in their positions.
The North American operation remains under the leadership of Mr. Tim Klein who has served as CEO of National Beef since July 2009. All three members of the board that are subject to replacement are to leave the company, announced Marcos Antonio Molina dos Santos, President of Marfrig's Administrative Council.
