Meat exports mark a turning point for Argentine agriculture
The operation was destined for Panama and set an important precedent for the decentralization of Argentine exports and the opening of new logistics corridors from within the country.
The flight, which departed on June 11, 2025, included a container of high-quality chilled boneless beef cuts, including fine flank steak, rump cap, and rump tail, produced at the Minerva Foods plant in Rosario. The products were carefully selected and processed to meet internationally required health and preservation standards.
The shipment was dispatched to Tocumen International Airport in Panama, where it was received by a local distributor in charge of its marketing meat export.
"This shipment marks a turning point in our operations. Being able to export by air directly from Rosario means strengthening the city as a strategic logistics hub for the interior of the country and operating more efficiently", explained Sebastián Gómez Lara, Cargo Supervisor at Minerva Foods.
The export was made possible thanks to the coordination between SENASA, the General Directorate of Customs, airlines, and logistics operators (forwarders), who carried out the necessary controls and certifications to ensure compliance with national and international regulations, including health and traceability regulations.
