Paraguay announces audit to allow meat export to Philippines

Inspection activities are scheduled from December 2 to 18, 2024.

During this period, BAI representatives will carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the official controls implemented by the Official Veterinary Service.

This process will include visits to the central laboratory, livestock establishments (cattle, pigs and poultry), regional offices, entry and exit points and livestock fairs.

This audit is  a key step in the negotiation process that began in 2020, when Senacsa submitted the documentation required by the Philippines veterinary authority.

Its purpose is to ensure that Paraguay's sanitary practices and official controls comply with the international standards required by the Philippines.
