Pilgrim's Pride buys Kerry Foods

Pilgrim's Pride, a US subsidiary of JBS, has completed the acquisition of the Kerry Group's meat and prepared foods businesses in the United Kingdom and Ireland, which was announced in June this year. The addition of Kerry Meats and Kerry Meals will strengthen Pilgrim’s position as one of the largest integrated value-added food companies in Europe, according to JBS.
Kerry foods will function as a business unit of Pilgrim’s operations in Europe.
