Polagra Food 2017 coming up

Polagra Food 2017, the largest international food trade event, will gather around exhibitors from all over the world, novelties in the food industry, and the best products awarded with the MTP Gold Medal starting with September 23 in Poznan, Poland.

Polagra 2017 fair will expand across 10 pavilions dedicated to the food industry and the HoReCa sector.

This block includes events: International Trade Fair for Food POLAGRA FOOD; International Trade Fair for Gastronomy and Hotel Equipment POLAGRA GASTRO and INVEST HOTEL; International Trade Fair for Food Processing Technologies POLAGRA TECH Food Industry Packaging Fair PAKFOOD Taste of Regions.

Between 25 and 26 September, the trade fair will also include the World Halal Convention East Europe which focuses on the development of halal industry in Poland as well as the other Eastern European countries, aimed at increasing halal products exports to the OIC countries which are the main Halal Food consumer market.

This year's event will have the Polish meat and dairy industry at the forefront. These two sectors will be represented by a large group of market leaders whose products are well known from Polish stores.

Throughout the years, the event's main focus has been supporting the development of trade between Poland and other countries. In this regard, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) is organizing the International Cooperation Exchange. Furthermore, this year's Polagra Food will also include the Polish-Nigerian Economic Summit, during which the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries will be discussed.

Food producers will participate from all over the world, including from countries such as Italy, Finland, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Cyprus as well as Malaysia, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
