Poultry genetics exports grow 7.2 percent in September

Revenue generated by exports reached US$ 18.7 million, exceeding by 5.4% the total obtained from exports in the segment in September 2023, with US$ 17.8 million.

Over the nine months of 2024, poultry genetics exports totaled 20,243 tons, a volume 5.9% higher than that shipped between January and September 2023, with 19,124 tons.

For the second consecutive month, Venezuela was the main destination for exports in the sector. In total, 678 tons of poultry genetics were exported to the country in September, a balance 1395% higher than the previous year.
