San Daniele ham in the metaverse

A sort of digital laboratory and multimedia content collector which, through total immersion in the metaverse, allows you to explore the world of San Daniele Dop ham.

The metaverse was born from the desire to innovate the way of narrating the production process of San Daniele Dop, combining the traditional knowledge that lies behind the processing of pork legs with the most advanced technology: it is the result of the joint work between the Prosciutto di Prosciutto Consortium of San Daniele and TechStar, a Friulian company founded in 2021 that develops solutions and projects based on augmented reality and artificial intelligence technologies to offer services to support business in different industries.

The goal of the new space is to express the values of excellence and sustainability, narrating, within a virtual setting that faithfully reproduces some spaces of a ham factory, the production process of San Daniele Dop, bringing the user to experience the brand in an immersive and engaging way.
The user, in fact, through an avatar, can visit a maturing room, interact with the surrounding environment and access a series of videos and slides that illustrate the various stages of ham production: the portal will be constantly implemented with new content. and the space created in the metaverse will be continually updated with new explorable areas.
