Shanghai CIIE closed with better prices for Argentine meat

On November 10, the seventh edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) closed in Shanghai, in which the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA) participated together with 14 exporting companies.

Beyond the influx of importers, which is always guaranteed at the fairs in this country, Argentine exporters found a firm and demanding market that showed an increase of between 200 and 300 dollars, on average, compared to the prices negotiated at the Sial China in May of this year.

In addition, businessmen are excited about a very positive 2025 for Argentine meat due to various factors: prices in Brazil continue to rise, the United States has a smaller supply and there will not be as much local meat on the market either, since this year Chinese producers had a large stock liquidation and that meat will not be available in the coming months.

Furthermore, the fair confirmed the great interest in grain-fed meat, in an increasingly sophisticated market, with prices much higher than those of cows.

For participation in the CIIE, the IPCVA developed the Argentine Beef Pavilion, 500 square meters, with a large restaurant and individual boxes for companies.

The companies that accompanied the Institute were the following: APEA, ArreBeef, Bustos Beltrán, Bernal Company, Central Pampeana Company, Ecocarnes, Forres Beltrán Refrigerator, Gorina Refrigerator, Rioplatense, Visom, Lequio Group, Offal Exp, Quickfood and Rafaela Alimentos.
