Singapore opens its market for Ukrainian poultry
Ukraine’s State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service announced that Singapore's veterinary watchdog, the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA), has approved Ukraine's application for the export of poultry meat and poultry products to the Asian country.
Eight Ukrainian producers received approval to export their products following the inspection of their production facilities from July 29 to August 6.
A form of veterinary certificate between the competent authorities of Ukraine and Singapore for the export of Ukrainian poultry to the Asian country is pending approval.
In 2018, poultry meat was among the top 10 main products exported by Ukraine to foreign markets, according to Ukraine's State Statistics Service. The country's largest poultry producers are MHP, Agromars Complex, and Agro-Oven, shotam.info reports.
