The IPCVA and 32 Argentine exporters are heading to Anuga 2025
This year's Argentine Beef Pavilion will cover an area of 850 m² and feature 32 exporting companies offering their products in the most traditional market for Argentine beef, which currently enjoys good prices and high demand. As usual, the IPCVA stand will feature a 40-table restaurant where exhibitors will welcome customers and buyers to sample grilled rib-eye and rib-eye steaks.
"Beyond the presence of meatpacking plants, we are going to present very important productive aspects", emphasized Georges Breitschmitt, president of the IPCVA. "Beyond the postponement, we are going to demonstrate that Argentina is prepared to comply with European Union Regulation 1115 on deforestation", he added.
For his part, Mario Ravettino, vice president of the organization, emphasized that "the massive presence of meatpacking companies denotes the moment of relevance that the European Union market and the marketing of premium products are experiencing". "Furthermore, the IPCVA organized a full agenda of meetings with importers from Germany, the Netherlands, and other countries to explain and publicize how our country is preparing to comply with Regulation 1115 on deforestation in all its aspects", he added.
The fair will take place amidst a backdrop of strong prices for Argentine meat and a scenario marked by various issues impacting international trade, such as European regulations on deforestation—now postponed for a year —US tariffs, and China's safeguards process.
