VIDEO: GB Bernucci is searching for zero plastic netting product

At IFFA 2019 the Italian company presented innovative products with a 90% reduction in plastic.

Niccolo Bernucci, the owner of GB Bernucci, an Italian producer of food packaging, is hoping to create a 100%-free plastic net for sausages and salami. "We are working on this product but I can tell you right now how much time it will take to launch a product like this. We do have achieved a reduction of plastic use by 90% in some of the products that we are presenting here at IFFA 2019", mentioned Mr Bernucci in an interview with EuroMeatNews.


IFFA 2019 was focused on topics such as environment issues, energy saving, food safety and food waste.
