The company announced that with effect from today, 15 May 2019, Rogier Jacobs will join its supervisory board.

Vion appoints Chief Information Officer in its supervisory board

Rogier Jacobs, Vion's Chief Information Officer is entering the supervisory board of the company starting today. According to a press release of the company, Jacobs will be responsible to add a digital dimension to Vion's operations in the future.
"We are pleased to welcome Rogier Jacobs as a new member of our supervisory board. His extensive international IT experience and network is an added value to the supervisory board and the more digital future of Vion”, says Theo Koekkoek, chairman of the supervisory board", declared Theo Koekkoek, chairman of the supervisory board.
The new formula of the board is comprising Theo Koekkoek (chairman), Tom Heidman (vice chairman), Marieke Bax, Hans Huijbers, Rogier Jacobs and Ton van der Laan.
Rogier Jacobs started his career in the company last February as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Prior to this, he worked as CIO at Cofco International and Cargill INC. Before he held several management positions at Océ, Toyota, Ericsson, Capgemini amongst others.
