Weber Maschinenbau invests in production and logistics expansion

The globally active company plans several expansions in various areas. The expansions are vital to increase capacity as customer orders are continuing to grow. The construction's first phase will be the completion of an approximately 3,200 square meters logistics center. The increased storage capacity and centralization of the entire warehouse logistics as a result of the expansion, lead to optimizing Weber's internal supply chain. The implementation of the new, highly automated Autostore warehouse system will additionally lead to considerable improvements of daily operations. Examples include increased commissioning speed, high system reliability and availability, as well as maximum space and area utilization. An expansion of the existing halls 5 and 6 on the Weber factory premises is planned as a second construction phase. This is where the machining and sheet metal construction production areas are located. Similar to the logistics improvements, increasing capacities is vital for the ability to expand in the future and to keep up with growing order volumes. As the Weber Group's main production site the plant in Neubrandenburg plays a particularly important role.
