Webomatic established a new subsidiary in Austria

Following the 60th anniversary of the company last year, the German engineering company Webomatic is growing and is further expanding its presence as a partner for vacuum packaging solutions in Europe. Next to the Romanian subsidiary in Cluj-Napoca, from the first of January 2019, the newly founded subsidiary Webomatic Austria GmbH is serving customers from Salzburg.
The subsidiary was open in January and is under the direction of Helmut Kottinger. The currently 4-person team (photo), led by industry expert Helmut Kottinger, meticulously takes care of consulting, sales and service of Webomatic packaging machines as well as the sales of high-quality packaging materials like pouches and films.
One of the novelties introduced by the company is to offer the customers the opportunity to produce sample packaging on various machines like chamber machines, shrink units and semi-automatic tray sealing machines on site. In addition to the subsidiary in Austria and Romania, the German engineering company acts as well through a worldwide network of partners and dealers.

The company is present in the Central and Eastern Europe markets but it also focuses on the Japanese market, responding to the demands of mid-size businesses in the meat industry from this area. "We always have a good connection with the Russian market, with Japan. The German market is also very good for us. It's clear that is Europe and Asia that looks very promising right now", declared Nathalie Bonk, Marketing Manager, Webomatic.
