Present at TuttoFood, in Milan, with a new range of products presented for the first time in Europe, Salumficio Fratelli Beretta Marketing Export Manager Christian Riva explained how the company responds to the current trends in the market.
"All these products are going in the direction of consumer's needs. Consumers are requesting more and more traceability in the product, animal welfare standard and, ultimately, they want a superior product in taste. We are expecting, first of all, our consumers to enjoy these products and, again, to build on this for the next years", explained Mr Riva in an interview for EuroMeatNews.
The company presented at the fair some of its new products such as Carpegna, a 20-month cured ham, launched last year in the US market in the premium segment and also Puro Beretta, an antibiotic-free product, and Filiera Beretta, an ethnic product made 100% from Italian meat.
On the other hand, the Italian consumer is requesting for convenience in the products and that that is the trend Fratelli Beretta is following right now.
