Animal protein exporters project US$57 million in revenue after FHA in Singapore

The participation of the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), in the FHA – Food & Hotel Asia 2026, held in Singapore, concluded last week with positive results for Brazilian animal protein exporters.

Animal protein exporters project US$57 million in revenue after FHA in Singapore

According to estimates gathered from participating companies, the contacts and negotiations carried out during the event are expected to generate US$57 million in business over the next 12 months.

During the trade fair alone, actual business transactions totaled US$8.9 million, a result driven by an intense schedule of business meetings and the presence of strategic buyers from Asia and other regions of the world.

Throughout FHA, approximately one thousand business contacts were registered at the Brazilian booth, solidifying the event as an important platform for connecting international exporters and importers.

The initiative was part of ABPA's international trade promotion strategy and featured a 126-square-meter booth designed for business deals, institutional networking, and promoting the image of Brazilian animal protein.

The companies Alibem, Copacol, Ecofrigo, Frigoestrela, GTfoods, MBRF, Naturovos, Seara, and Zanchetta participated in the initiative, presenting their portfolios and expanding their relationships with importers, distributors, and operators in the food service sector.

Located in one of Asia's main logistics and commercial hubs, Singapore plays a strategic role in food distribution to Southeast Asia. In this context, FHA is consolidating itself as a relevant platform to expand the presence of Brazilian animal protein in markets heavily dependent on imports.

“The performance achieved at FHA reinforces the competitiveness and international confidence in Brazilian animal protein. The quality of the contacts made and the volume of business generated demonstrate the potential of the Asian region for export expansion, especially in markets that value regularity of supply, sanitary standards, and product diversity,” assesses the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.
